Yeah, when Whipple said to bleed the coolant system BEFORE flashing the car, I just skipped ahead, flashed the car and then bled the coolant system. Now if only i would have turned the thermostat housing around......

I thought about it but didntthink that starting the car and letting it idle with no boost would hurt a thing, I'm no expert though...

Appreciate the nice comments, above and beyond the nerves and excitement the install was alot of fun. I knowthe car much better now.

As for the fuel lock ring, after putting 10lb of doo-doo in the 5lb bag...... I am sure!!!!

That plug thats on the passenger side toward the rear of the intake manifold, I can tap my boost guage there right???

Did anyone ask whipple why that plug is there? I planned to put an IAT sensor there one day, so I used a T in the fuel pressure sensor vacuum line on the drivers side.

If you are getting the Ford procal tuner, just take your time when loading the new tune. It takes 5-10 minutes, it's insane!

I've noticed that almost everyone has a different sized pulley, my blower came with a 3.500 and also a statement about it being the GenII blower. Although a disclaimer says to check boost levels, I assume the 3.5 on the newer design s/c produces ~10psig???

And yes, for now I'm trusting the FRPP conservative tune. Have no idea what to expect, I've read a thousand post from you guys speaking on the power of the Whipple so hopefully I'm in for a good dose of justification for spending 10 tons of money.

HEY! btw, what do I have to do in order to get that little "Whipple Crew Member" tag in my sig????

The only way I can tell mine is a Gen II is if I take the blower off (black rotors) and by the fact it has a machined serial number in the bearing plate.
Good that they adjusted the kit to say Gen II, and to lower the boost back to 10 psi by using the 3.5" pulley. A couple months back, they didn't even have a 3.5" pulley to pick from (I got the 3.375" with the kit, and ordered a 3.625")

As for the *Whipple Crew*, just type it in your sig!
