Default Gauge mounting ???? Help

I'm mounting the pressure sender for my boost gauge inside the firewall. It was just easier than trying to feed all the wiring vice just the nylon pressure tubing through the oem grommet. I have the autometer cobalt electric gauge and it says to mount it inputs facing downward. This is kind of a enigma to me since there really isn't many places to do that, so a suggestion of what might be an alternative would be helpful. Also, I have to tap into the 12v dash lighting and continuous 12v power supply that maintains power through cranking/starting the car. What wire should I tap into for those? And where can I pull them from?

Please advise.

update:

gauge is in and working mighty nice!!!

I'm going to post a DIY on the electric full sweeps to save others time and aggravation.

I tapped into the headlamp wiring (orange w/ green stripe;as you look at the plug face on its bottom row far right in case I'm off on the colors) for the white/lighting wire, tapped into the fuel pump wire leading from the fuse box (30amp fused) after the fuse (for a fused link) for the red constant power wire and found a common ground away from electrical sources under the dash.

I ended up mounting the boost MAP sensor on the empty bracket for the steering column. And ran the nylon tubing through a hole I made with a phillips screwdriver through the driver side main wiring harness rubber fire wall plug. Then tapped into where the KB BAP was hooked into.

Powered it up and all ran like a charm!

here's the final product:

Next: Fuel pressure!
