i would definatley recomend this, if you have no gauges i dont recomend being boost blind but i would def tell you to invest in a air fuel gauge. its better to be safe than to be sorry, a dyno definatley helps and many mail order tunes seem to be close but most tuner dyno in one gear and often you can miss small thing that can creat big problems.
i have a plx guage, i got it for 250 with the wideband o2, brand new from manfacturer. if you cant fid it let me know and ill hook you up the gauge is also led so it looks nice and is east to read and its available in white or black.
the first to pics are of the gauge

instalation was a breze, 20 minutes. now if you have a o/r exaust you can screw the 02 right in to the driver side bung. if you have cats then youll have to have a bung welded in. what i did was run the wire back and then up along the shifter but tied to the side so it will never get in the way and is not noticable. then under the radio where i wired thw power suply and under the sterring wheel into the gauge in the pillar. and then you done. very easy and cheap and a very nessesary tool when owning a f/i type vehicle

i know, they are def the best bang for you buck, unless you go with a interforce, but i like my gauges to funtional with one purpose, i beleive you can get way ahead of yourself sometimes if you try to do to many things and get confused. it only 250 with the wide band and is very worth it

Do exhaust shops remove the H pipe to weld in a bung? I thought about taking mine to a local shop and getting a bung welded, since it was sitting in my shop for 3 days. It might be quicker, cheaper and easier for some people to take the H pipe out themselves.
It may not fit in your standard trunk, now that I think about it.

im a little confused to your question about the h pipe.
i do know that if you have stock exuast all they will do is weld the bung in and the side, they prob wont have to take it of. if you have a o/r set up meaning no cats then the rear 02 will be already turned of and all you have to do is screw the 02 for the wideband in and you good to go

the bung should be at 2 oclock on the pipe so depending on the shop they most likely will want to take it off, i understand what you were saying now. but its all up to the shop. it moght be cheaper to get a o/r piupe from a vender or ebay depending if you can tsake yours off yourself. i know some people want cats so its a personal choice

dont you still need the rear O2's? i had mine welded in and still have my rear O2's also w/ o/r x pipe. i was under the impression that you still need the rear ones even tho they are off, or you may get a CEL.
