I found this old thread doing a search on coils, How are the GMS coils holding up ? I bought a set last month and they are currently on there way back. I had nothing but trouble with them, bad idle spark blow out occasional surging ect. I changed plugs tried three different brands of fuel, no help, I was in denial thinking it was not the c.o.p.s , I installed the stock ones back in and the car has run perfect now for a week. GMS said they would send me a new set, I said no, so now I was told I would be charged a 15% re-stocking fee for defective parts. Just wondering how yours are doing.

I'm interested to hear, also. I just PM'd nineinch for an update on this thread.

Oops. Sorry. See post #25 in the thread below. I guess they're STILL crap...

Yep, still crap. I'm ashamed that I gave them such a glowing review after minimal testing. When they began to fail, it was like dominos. One after the other, they failed, and failed BADLY. I'm running stockers off of an '08 now, and they perform flawlessly.

My GMS COPs still work great. I had some failures of the old design but not on the new design.

I'm glad you haven't had any issues, and I sincerely hope that you don't, but I'd keep a spare stock coil and a screwdriver in the glovebox if I were you.
