installed accel coil packs..........
Installed the accels the other day and immediately could tell a difference at start up. The car started quicker and idled down much smoother. Even cold idle felt smooth. Accelerating at part throttle also seems smoother
The real difference was at 1/2 throttle and wide open throttle. I thought my exhaust note was just the way the mid mufflers sounded after they broke in (didn't do it when first installed). I had heard people mention trumpetting with aftermarket exhausts and thought that's what I was hearing. I would get a loud rythmic pop. I'll see if I can hear it in any of my videos and post one if I can. Anyway, it's possible the pop was from spark blow out because it is completely gone now. I thought the popping in the exhaust from spark blow out would be more random or erratic.
I did get a backfire today when i shifted to third at WOT, but the car might not have been completely warm, so I'll have to wait and see if it repeats. I'm just glad to get my VVVVrrrrrrrroooooooooom sound back. It was starting to sound like a bubba truck with no mufflers.
If you have a supercharger and an extra $300, it might be worth it to try these or wait for the Xcop from lethal for mid $400's.

I threw a set of the Summit COP's on my car (NA) and I definately feel like the car runs much smoother... throttle response seems to be better too (Auto). For $200+ I'm actually very happy with them. It adds to the enjoyment of the car.

Moose, where did you get them?

By the way, that backfire I believe was because I had the mother F'ing traction control on! It hasn't happened since.
I'm not to keen on the yellow coils, but they do match the dipstick handle.
