Default Resonators?

Do we have resonators on our cars? (behind the cats maybe?)

Would removing them make more sound legally?
Could it produce any negative effects?

I'm no expert but it is my understanding that resonators are usually added to our cars to reduce drone from mufflers such as Stingers...

Man..... How many more exhaust posts will you start here? LOL

Now that that is out of my system.... No there are no resonators on our cars. The easiest way to get the answer to that question though would be...
1. Get up
2. Go to car in question
3. lay down next to said car and look under there!
