Default Pypes Mid- Muffler

I just got the pypes mid muffler setup on my 06 gt. It sounds good but I want it louder. I was thinking of getting either an o/r x or a mac prochamber. I was just wondering if anyone i running this setup or any other loud setups with the pypes mid muffler system.

So would I..... however, I have the Pypes midmufflers (i switched over from SLP's) and the MM seemed low at first but it definately breakes in and gets louder and nastier. I love mine, and the only reason I'd change the headers or mid pipe is for performance, not sound.

I have the PMM with prochamber and they will definently get louder as they get broken in!!! The sound is perfect but like you I want it a little louder. I am deciding between getting some pypes high cats with bbk shorties of mac longtubes with the highflow cats.[]

If you can afford it, get LT headers and a catted x-pipe/h-pipe, depending on you sound of choice.

I have kooks LT with the catted x-pipe and the PMM, check the video in my signature if that is loud enough.

If you get the LT's youll lose the prochamber... You need some LT's though with your novi it would make quite a hp difference. What size pulley are you running?

What do you mean i'll lose the prochamber?

Edit- I don't know what pulley but my car is super de-tuned! It put down 480rwhp on the first dyno run. I told them I didn't want anything above 430rwhp on stock engine. I am looking for pure sound, no more power for now...

If you get LT's your current mid pipe wont work. You might be able salvage it but it will need some work. Its crazy what they can do with tuneing now.

Mac longtubes won't work with a prochamber??? Who told you that? It will work and if I want to run highflow cats its quite simple to cut the downpipe and slip the cats on... I'll probably run it without cats just to hear how crazy loud it will be but I will eventually put the cats on.

Wow Lito your stang sounds perfect for the kind of sound I am looking for. I am definitely getting longtubes. I was going to go with JBA do you think it will still sound somewhat similar to your kooks.
