Default Oil Filters...Which is best to use on 08 GT?

I'm about 1000 miles before my first oil change. I need help in selecting the best Oil Filter that I can buy and use on my 2008 Mustang GT Convertible?

Based on previous posts that I read, I'll be using Mobil 1 Syntheticoil.

I personally prefer Wix filters, but I know a lot of guys are using the Purolator PureOne or Motorcraft filters and liking them.

I can't remember the article but someone took apart almost every brand of filter out there and really the standard Motorcraft one was one of the best, you can get a little better if you use the ford racing version but not by much.

I run the standard Motorcraft filter, but I've used the expensive *** Mobile 1 filter a few times. Didn't seem to make a difference.

I used to use Mobil 1 & Motorcraft filters, both good products. I recently changed to Amsoil, and plan to use Amsoil filters too when my K&N's are used up.

I've used those fram sure grip filters on my stang ever since I started changing it myself. They're just easy to use, no filter wrench required. Not really sure how good they are, but I haven't had any problems. They're like $4 at walmart, too.

I have no beef with Fram filters. I've used plenty in the past, but haven't in quite a few years. But if you go over to the Bobistheoilguy site, they are pretty hard on them.
