He said he dynoed at 325rwhp and 340rwtq with an auto. That is BS with his mods in an auto he probably has around 300rwhp. But with 4.10's and DR that time is definitely possible with a great 60' and good conditions.

yeah.. in the vid he got 13.56.. that may have been stock.. in which case he got a good one from the factory. although i want to see this vid of him getting that time.. i wonder if someone else in an s197 (5197 was car#) was given that number on another day and he just borrowed their slip.. and for his dynojet claim, either their dyno is off or he estimated hp/tq by adding cai + udp to 300hp 310tq

Mishri, don't forget about 25HP/28LbFt at the wheels for the exhaust setup. Coupled with the similar numbers for the CAI/Tune... I'd say those numbers are reasonable, if a touch optimistic.

Remember for many bolt on mods it is not a sum of each separate mod that will yield what total HP/TQ you will make.... IMO

EX- adding a CAI and tune and then simple exhaust mods and UDP wont yield what each part says it will. Most numbers are from a stock car to what they can yield and not necessarily will yield the combined total of said mods....just doesn't work that way and I doubt 12.4 in the 1/4 mile.....just doesn't add up

there was an article not too long ago where they took 2 stock GTs, one auto, one manual and started adding things to them till they ran consistent mid 12s. They did, 1 piece drive shaft, cai/tune, battery relocate, udps, skinnys on the front, slicks in the back, sway bar delete, LCAs.. I can't remember wether they did any exhaust work or not.. so perhaps it is possible. I'll try to find that article.

looks like each car got different mods.. and udps weren't invovled and the driveshaft they used on the auto apparently was screwy and vibrated the car badly. and exhaust wasn't part of the mods. they did do gears on the auto though. and on the manual they got a 12.5 with no suspension mods, stock gears.

that was right after the '05s came out they got the car down to 12.3 fairly easily.. then they let the magazine guy drive it and he got a 12.7 same exact car..their note next to it says, weenie launch. LOL.. yeah.. I never trust magazine times anymore
