You want o/d off. Especially if it's only a 1/8 mile. O/d is 5th gear, and if you hit 5th gear while racing, it will slow you down some. You want to stay in 4th in order to stay in the power band. I don't think you will need to hit 5th gear with only an 1/8 mile, although you do have n20, which I don't have experience with. Also, you want tcs off. If you spin at all on the launch, tcs will kill your power instantly. Hope that helps.

I don't believe it matters wether O/D is on or off.. I think it only shifts into 5th when you aren't in WOT... TCS does need to be off.

thank you on your quick reply.i was just wondering since the manual says to turn it off when going up hill or towing, and since the transmission is doing extra work to spin the tires i figure to ask.once againg thanks

I always keep the TCS/OD off everytime I run,it pulls noticably harder up top especially around
80-120.

It may not make a difference, but if I'm racing, I turn it off. I don't want to give it the chance to shift into 5th and kill my power. It's not going to do anything bad if you turn it off. I just turn it off to be safe. Def tcs off tho.

Since the track is only an 1/8th mile, O/D on/off won't even matter. You won't even get out of 3rd.
TCS off for sure.
