With all the weight you've dropped and moved to the rear, you might need some wheelie bars. Make sure someone gets some nice video of your first launch.

Do you still have the passenger side airbag in there? I'd consider ditching that anchor.

We took out all of the emmisions stuff under the spare tire well and just for giggles, I put the stuff on the scale. Are you ready for this? 98 lbs! (This was just the emissions crap under the spare tire well alone!) Now this is designed to trap the vapor from your gas tank when it heats up while off and running and prevent raw fuel from venting to the atmosphere so for me it was a no brainer cause I am doing a return fuel system but it might not be an 'easy' mod for anyone else as you are using your stock gas tank - you would want an alternative way to vent your gas when it expands...

I would seriously like to know how to make this work? That's a simple way to drop almost 100 lbs off the car. Would just putting a check valve on the vent tube be satisfactory? I'm sure i'd get a constant check engine light, but I don't care. I had no idea that stuff was that heavy.

I just need to know what psi check vavle i need?
I put up the full story on another forum but the short version is I made a bonehead mistake. It was not 98 lbs - it was 28 lbs. Still - 28 lbs ain't bad either and yes - you could easily use a vent tube and just shut off the vapor sensors in the tune.

The secret is to make sure you run your vent tube facing 'up' - then curlie cue it down. This is the way to go on ANY vent system. Otherwise, you run the risk of leaking fuel at times. I did it this way off the fuel cell.

You have a lot of gauges. Kind of reminds me of the cockpit of a 747.

the CK is lookin good.
will be much better when it's done.
must be exciting for you gettin all this done to your stang, but no huge subwoofers in back?
this is one of the main reasons GAS is working so hard on my car. Their biggest rep is for the 'pimp my ride' crap but the reality is that is only a SMALL part of their facilities.

You'd have to see it to believe it and I encourage anyone to stop by if they are local and check it out but trust me, they do some bad **** builds. I have met 1/2 a dozen celebrities since I been there that aren't 'pimp' cars. Ray Romana and Brad were there the other day with some OUTSTANDING vintage restoration rides. Tommy Lee was there yesterday with his navigator.

Ask to see there showroom and you'll crap your pants. No joke - 15 million in cars in there...[8D] Veyron, S7, ferrari, porsche GT, original 68 widebody GT500, the #2 GT500 supersnake, vintage ferraris, jags, ect, ect.

Hell - they even have the coffin dragster from the munsters...lol

A whole crap load of Rat Fink rides.

Very impressive and they aren't cheap - but they are ***** best IMO.

Believe it or not, many of them are going to go by by and most of the CF blue is coming out too. There will be 5 gauges in it when it's done and they are the 5 I need...
