Wait until your battery gets low and the skipper turns on by itself and starts continously
shuffling thru the 6 CDs with the stang off and no one around to stop it from completely draining your battery.
Then you will have a problem you wouldnt have had if you didnt have the skipper 500/1000.

Does it really do that? that would be nuts! Why would the radio just come on like that?! I am going to have to swap in the stock battery and put a slow drain on it to see what happens

The 05s are somewhat different from the 06-08s.
Beware of the dreaded water leak TSB on the S197s.
I would be a pullin the carpet back and checking for rust
on the passengers side before purchasing.
Also stay away from 05 Stangs with the Skipper 500/1000.
They are problem makers.
I would go thru the TSBs at the top of the forum page
before buyinga S197.
ok this is the kind of stuff that i wanted to know haha

im accually helping out a friend because he doesnt know very much about cars, i drive a e36 m3, alittle bit of an older car so i know that things do ge wrong and i was looking for that kind of stuff
