Has anybody had any experience or known anyone that has purchased and intalled a Ram Air Shaker System ona s197. It seems to be a cheeper solution to a Supercharger for the time being..Anyone aware ofhow muchof a HP gain ???? any thoughtswould be great.

Um.... I dont think a shaker is gonna give you much. Especially not for the money hahahaaha.
Have you considered getting her stroked?
Ever consider cams with a cammed tune and also getting some more suspension mods?
4.10 gears? Bolt ons are what you need if you cant get a Supercharger/Forced Induction.
I'm not a nitros fan but that is also an option for you.

Shaker for power= No.
Shaker for looks=Yes.

Right, the shaker will not give you any HP gains. In theory it should but in practice it does not. It's only an appearance mod. They do look cool though!

If you want more power but can't go s/c right now, look into full exhaust and a Steeda UDP. That should give you at least 25 if not more HP. Although, the UDP would need to be taken off when you s/c unless you don't like boost.

You could also gain about 25 HP by getting an NSR cam, like the NSR from Comp Cams (Brenspeed sells them) or the FRPP Hot Rod cams. I'd go for the Hot Rod since they gain about the same HP mostly but sound WAY cooler.
