If you're not in the high 11's at the absolute worst then it seems to me a $5000 supercharger isn't worth the cash.

Mines not an I4 Moose...its a V-twin...deeper sound and torquey as hell
Yeah, I know. I just mentioned the inline 4's because that's mostly what people see/hear. When I was looking at the sv's people were telling me not to get one if MPG is my goal, but these buells are supposed to get 50mpg pretty easily. That's good enough for me.

I picked it up today. 3 1/2 hour drive one way. It looked damn cool being pulled behind my wifes chysler 300. People must have thought, look at those old people with that weird looking motorcycle.

I don't know how this thread went from whipples to motorcycles, but it works for me! Ever since I installed the whipple, I've been averaging 13-14mpg. (All city.) So, I'm looking at the new 250cc ninja for a daily driver. I know, I know, it's barely more than a moped, but I'm buying it purely for MPGs.

The new ninja 250's look nice compared to the old ones. I learned how to ride on a ninja 250. You might consider the Hyosung 250. The full fairing one is inline with the price of the ninja, but i think it looks more like a sportbike should. Some people say the quality is questionable, but others seem happy so IDK.

I may have to consider them. I can't find a dealer with a 250 ninja in stock in the entire southeast.
