C&L "trueflow racer"? Or a JLT Cai?
I was wondering if there is a big difference between the two... beside the 100 dollar difference... i know both are good brands... http://www.stage3motorsports.com/cat...d_air_intakes/

C&L is better quality, but performance wise it is not any better than the JLT. IMO get the JLT and save the extra $100 for something else.

I got the C&L Racer intake, it was like $50 cheaper than the C&L Street, plus a metal intake not a great idea out here in AZ !!! I am very happy with the fit and function of the Racer, plus if I ever get NOS or go with a Saleen SC it is the bigger intake, more flow helps.
JLT sounds good, I thought it was ugly looking, plus it was more at the time.
IMHO

Get the cheaper one IMO, unless you really care about what your engine bay looks like. For the record, I don't think my JLT is ugly, it just looks like a CAI. I have the blue filter on mine with the black tube...
i got a c&l racer from bama for $609 shipped with diablo tuner and 3 tunes, check him out. when i got the box he actually sent me the street version cause he was out of the racer. i called him and asked out the diference in the 2 and he said it would not be noticeable with the mods i had.
I wouldnt go racer unless you plan on doing alot more engine breathing mods in the future. On on stock or near stock engine the C&L "street" actually outperforms the "racer". Ex: Cams. HEads,
