RE: What gauges should I get?
Im old school and dont like all those electronic air/fuel stuff.
There are two types of Air/Fuel ratio gauges. Wideband and narrowband.
narrowband is inexpensive but useless for the most part.

the $40-$50 narrowband gauges are just for flashy lights and give you zero usefull info.

I have a AutoMeter wideband A/F and boost, and an Aeroforce gauge. The Aeroforce gauge is pretty nifty; lots of stuff to play with and I'm always changing parameters to monitor.
As far as why people suggest to get oil pressure and water temp gauges, that's because you have no way to really monitor those accurately with what comes stock. And both those gauges could be very handy. I have an oil pressure adaptor kit for my Aeroforce, and I'd like to get a proper water temp gauge one of these days.

The stock gauges are idiot gauges and not as accurate as the "added" aftermarket gauges. Digital gauges are more accurate and give closer to an exact number for any given gauge than the stockers.

some of you guys say oil pressure and water temp, can't you just use the stock gauges to read that? Temp and oil press?
