Launch on the last yellow. Trust me, you wont red light! As far as RPM..... That is for you to test out yourself. You need to get the tires to just barely slipping on launch. Too much spin is bad and no spin means you are not launching hard enough. Start @ 2000rpm's and work your way up. Also play with tire preassure. Start @ 23p.s.i. and go from there!

Here is what works best for me. A good smokey burnout, rev to 5k, dump the clutch on the last yellow then feather the clutch until under way.

i run mine at about 17 psi

I dont have dr tires, however I leave around 2500-3k rpm on street tires while feathering the clutch.

a good 60ft time for a street tire is 2.0 and below (I've gotten 1.9) but from my understanding-

a dr tire should be getting 1.8 and below, i below 1.7 is a avg 60 for dr tires.

Man I can't wait to get on the track for the first time. I'm so jealous.

With the mickeys I would start out at 18psi(my sweet spot is right around 14psi)or so. Launch around 4-5k rpm dump to start. Every time you line up make sure you do a good burnout don't stop until you see smoke up to the door.
