I just got some m/t drag radials 275/40 r17 for my car going to the drag strip tommorow My car is pretty much stock I just have a tunnable intake,frpp x pipe,corsa exhaust, delete plates,hurst shifter, 296.79 rwhp 313.69 tq was the best pull after the dyno.......(dyno on 20x10 wheels) tune...........................................
JUst wanted to asked you guys what was the safest rpm to launch at ? anything i should watch for? any pointers ?

Launch on the last yellow. Trust me, you wont red light! As far as RPM..... That is for you to test out yourself. You need to get the tires to just barely slipping on launch. Too much spin is bad and no spin means you are not launching hard enough. Start @ 2000rpm's and work your way up. Also play with tire preassure. Start @ 23p.s.i. and go from there!

I dont have dr tires, however I leave around 2500-3k rpm on street tires while feathering the clutch.
a good 60ft time for a street tire is 2.0 and below (I've gotten 1.9) but from my understanding-
a dr tire should be getting 1.8 and below, i below 1.7 is a avg 60 for dr tires.

With the mickeys I would start out at 18psi(my sweet spot is right around 14psi)or so. Launch around 4-5k rpm dump to start. Every time you line up make sure you do a good burnout don't stop until you see smoke up to the door.
