Default CNL

Im running the CNL "Racer" CAI with their tune on the Diablo. Question is, is anyone else running this setup? I noticed their tune is a 93 octane, and out west we only get 91. Anyone know if I change to the 91 tune that is not CNL's tune if it will make a bad difference? Is their tune with 93 setup just for their intake and if I click to the Diablo canned 91 tune will it affect the CAI performance?

I'm not sure I understand... You have a 91 tune on your Diablo? Who wrote the 91 tune and what was it for? C&L is the manufacturer of your CAI... I wasn't aware they write tunes... Who'd you buy the combo from? Have you contacted them?

Sorry I know I didnt make that all very clear. C&L has a package with their "Racer" CAI and a Diablo Predator. When you order the package, the Diablo has a tune on there that was inputed by C&L for their CAI. LIke most of those tunes, it seems to be for those back East and in the midwest where youc an get 93 octane at the pump. However, out west here, we can only get 91. I downloaded their tune with teh CAI install as I feared the CAI would not work optimally without it, however, I am also worried about running their tune cause it is a 93 octane tune. I am kind of stuck in the middle and dont know if I should just use Diablo's 91 canned tune the Predator comes with as an option, or stick with C&L's tune.

purchase a tune from brenspeed or bamachips. i dont think the canned cnl or predator tune will be ar good. then you can get any obtane you want.

I'm not sure if Brenspeed supports the Diablo. But I think Bama does. Good luck!

You can back the global timing off 2 degrees in the
C&L 93 tune and run 91 octane.

Brenspeed services is top notch, but they dont support Diablo tuners, only SCT as far as I know.
