As far as NVH, I was very happy with the MGW. Can you tell where the vibration is coming from? The only thing I can think of that would cause this is the 2 nuts at the back of it being loose. These are a PITA to get tight due to them being right over the driveshaft.

Did you dynamat the ebrake? If you didn't: remove center console, pull apart 2 piece plastic cover on ebrake and dynamat the two holes you see on the lever. I had the same thing and after doing that it cleared right up. It will always be louder(cabin noise)than the stock shifter, but the vibration should be taken care of.

I tried the dynamat on the e brake and the noise is still there! It sounds like it is coming from under the car right were the arm from the shifter bolts to the transmission. All the bolts are tight, you can here it accelerating in any gear, but worse off the gas coming down from high rpm around 3500 to 2500 rpm.Sounds like something against the body of the car.someone have any idea it driving me nuts!! thanks

I have the MGW and its quiet to me. I can't understand what the issue could be. Is the shifter rod block oriented in the right way? Arrow to the drivers side? Its a long shot but I can"t see what else it could be and I have no idea what it would be like if it was in wrong.

I would double check the center connection, the two bolts with the rubber to rubber connection....Make sure when you tightened that connection down, that you tightened evenly on each side, a bit at a time, and crushed the rubber down. It could be that one side is tighter than the other, allowing it to vibrate....Those two bolts are a bitch to get to......

Any mid pipe change recently?

My Hurst has a rattle, dealer said that the support metal goes through the hanger and touches the brace near the trans on one side and that is where the rattle is coming from. 'Nice' guy, wouldn't fix it, told me to tak it back to the place that put the exhaust on, grrrr. . .
