Default 2007 GT Deluxe vs Premium

Two weeks ago I traded my 2006 V6 Pony Package, Premium, Tungsten Grey coupe with Interior Upgrade Package, Auto, for a 2007 GT Deluxe Tungsten Grey coupe with 5 speed manual, Interior Upgrade Package, Shaker 500 with 6 CD changer and cloth seats. The GT had less than 3,700 miles when I traded for it. I then put GT take-off leather seats in the 2007 GT coupe.

The 2007 Mustang book lists the Deluxe equipment and then says the Premium has all the same equipment as the Deluxe plus the Shaker 500 with 6 CD changer and Leather-trimmed sport bucket seats. So, I would say that for all intents and purposes I now have a GT Premium coupe. Does that sound about right?

Also on a label on the driver's door jam it says the car has 5 speed manual and 3:55 gears. Are the 3:55 gears standard on a GT with manual transmission?

Do you have 2 or 4 guages between the speedo and tach? I thought that the Deluxe had the 2 guages and the Premium has the 4 guages.

I have the four gauges between the speedo and tach. I thought the extra gauges came with the interior upgrade package. In the 2007 sales broucher it says the six guage cluster is included with the interior upgrade package.

In the 2007 Mustang sales broucher it says the Premium coupe has all the equipment that is on the Deluxe plus the Shaker 500 Audio System with 6-disk CD changer and Leather-trimmed sport bucket seats. Since you don't have the Shaker I would guess that you have a Deluxe coupe. Mine was a Deluxe with the Shaker 500 and I added the GT take-off leather so I would guess mine would be considered a Premium coupe now. I would like to get a copy of the window sticker that came with the car. Do you know if Ford would have the window sticker?

Sorry to say this 07gttom, but you are wrong. The 3.55 gears were standard on the 05/06 GT with the manual transmission.

But were the 3.55 gears standard on the 2007 with manual trans? I have a 2007 with 3.55 and manual trans from the factory and 07gttom says he has a 2007 with 3.31 gears.

i was refering to 07's since that is what he has. in 2007, the GT's gears standard are 3.31's. 3.55's are the option.
