i think we'll see a nice write up sometime
later this morning...

i pulled mine out of the box last night
to look at it.....the pressure plate is
a lot heavier then i imagined.

Pressure Plate heavier then I imagined? I thought you just ordered the TOB?

Hmm.. Short memory.. Thought the pressure plate was light at least compaired to the 800lb flywheel that thing was a tank.

i had never held a pressure plate
before, i guess i just didn't know
how substantial they are

They are heavy bitches! Trying to lift it up to the flywheel, while you are hunched over under the car, sucks! I weighed my stock flywheel, pressure plate and what was left of my stock clutch, it was well over 50lbs. You can get a lightweight pressure plate from some manufacturers, but again, it's pricey.
