bamachips VS brenspeed
im looking into getting the CAI tune package, i want the steeda intake, which brenspeed has and they ship to FPO addresses. i didn't see any steeda on bama, but im hearing different things about the two companies as far as quality of the tunes. which one would everyone recommend and is there any pros or cons with either ones? thanks

Are you auto or manual? If you're auto I'd recommend Bama as I hear his tunes are best for Autos. I have an 08 GT auto and I plan on going with Bama C&L Racer Intake (cos it's plastic) and the X3 Calibrator.
If you're manual I hear Bren has the better setup.

It's interesting in that for me, I find bama gave me better performance (no actual numbers just feel) and MUCH better responsiveness (very touchy throttle). So overall I prefer bama and will be sticking with bama (plus he'll give email tunes for FRPP Hot Rod cams).
However, I liked the shiftpoints on my brenspeed tune much better. With brenspeed, it didn't shift up so fast and stayed in a lower gear a little longer which was great. Made it feel more like what I'd do in a manual.

I have both the Bama race and the Brenspeed 93 tunes on a manual '08 GT. I also switch back and forth, but if I had to stay with one, it would be the Brenspeed. I do want to try the Bama performance and torque tunes sometime in the future....

This may be inconclusive, but I ran the race and tq tune the same day on a 1/8 mile track and I got faster times with the tq tune.
