Default Pypes O/R H

I've currently got the Borla FRPP Stingers and I'm looking at going with a Pypes O/R H.

Can I expect any gains w/ the Pypes O/R H Midpipe or is it all sound?

Mods listed in sig, nothing major.

I would say it is only sound, although I am very pessimistic of small reported gains due to the limits of Dyno testing.

Cool

i have noe real proof but i've read with cats completely off you can gain 10 or max. The cats are restrictive no matter what. I hae the Pypes h-pipe and love them they sound great with the Steeda Axleback exhaust.

I have the same setup you have.
I felt some gains in the upper range
rpms with the O/R H, nothing serious
but enough to tell a difference.

The sound it produces is absolutely
amazing, you will like it! Go for it...

One thing though, look into welding
the pieces together, because otherwise
it would leak.

I thought I'd honestly lose some low end back pressure w/o the cats, but it's the same size tubing. Didn't really notice a difference in power, but the sound is titz.

I bought them, should be coming in pretty soon.

I've heard mixed reports; some say to weld, some say to clamp and just readjust after some settling, I was gonna do a mix, weld the two @ the H and then mount otherwise with clamps.

I'd reconsider welding before you mount. Should mount first, then weld incase you need to rotate/twist one side even if its just a hair. But goodluck with whatever you choose dude.

If you want better sound, go with the H.

If you want better performance, go with the X.

If you want both, then join the club and get in line!

A prochamber is a mix of a X pipe and H pype.

Something to look into.
