Tune that changes A/T down shift sensitivity

Tune that changes A/T down shift sensitivity
I've noticed my A/T GT is very reluctant to down shift compare to other makes with an auto tranny. It even allows me to accelerate from a 20mph 90 degree turn on 4th and doesn't even down shift unless I STOMP on the pedal.
I've read many threads about how a tune can make the shift harder/ firmer but no discussions about DOWN SHIFT SENSITIVITY, I'd love to make it more sensitive to my accelerater angle rather than "WWwooooooo..." (exhaust noise when I step on it but the tranny just sits on it's fatass on whatever gear it's in such as 4th) when I step on it. I want it to go "WWHHAAAAAAAA..." when I step on it. You know what I mean? CAN A TUNE MAKE IT EASIER TO DOWN SHIFT? WHICH TUNE/ MAKE DOES THIS BEST?
Thanks!

Hmmm. Usually it takes at least 3/4 throttle to get it to downshift. Kinda sucks I know. You can always manual shift....that's what I do. I haven't asked that specific ?, but I did ask Doug (Bama) this ?.
Doug,
I have a question for you. Is there anyway to improve respone time of the
transmission when you manually downshift? When I manually downshift from drive into 3rd...there's a 1-2 sec delay. 3rd into 2nd seems ok...only a slight delay.
his response:
Truly not that I'm aware of, about the only thing I see in the PCM is a mph
limit on the 4-3 downshift speed.
Doug.

I'm sure it's all in the computer, an easy fix for those companies who are already doing the tune units. How about people that has a tune, is it true that there are no tunes out there that improves this issue?

My tune mainly just improved the performance of the engine. The only tranny thing it did was make the shifts more firm. While that is good, it still shifts "stupidly."
I'm mostly likely going to do a swap though since I can luckily do it for pretty cheap.

I would contact JDM www.teamjdm.com . They can definitely help you.

This is definitely possible. Both of these questions.
In regular mode and in manual mode.
I work a lot with the auto trans, mainly because I like getting fuel economy.
Your request would not help in fuel economy, but none the less.. is possible.

I put a Bama 91 Race tune on the 07 auto which helped dramatically with making the car sensitive to throttle input, and subsequently shifting. I still got tired of the auto and traded it in a couple weeks ago however. I should have bought a manual to begin with. :\ I considered the tranny swap, but Ford is giving these things away right now and it was cheaper just to trade the car and get a new one.

It wasn't when I tried about a month ago, of course things could have changed since then. But I also have a lot of miles on mine which hurt the value. I found for me a swap would be MUCH MUCH cheaper, which normally isn't case.
I agree on the thought of should have got a manual the first time. Live and learn.
