Anyone got a link to a LT header install how to?

Doing mine my self sat. would like a little something in front of me to follow

I finished throwing my Kooks headers and midpipe on a couple weeks ago, so if you've got any questions while the memories are still fresh, lemme know.

Which headers are you installing?

quick question...why cant you reuse the OEM manifold studs? When I did shorties on the 4.0, I never even touched 'em. All I had to do was remove the nuts, slide the mandifolds off, replace gasket, slide shorties on, tourque nuts back down and done.

whats the deal? it seems like a extra step to me...

LOL, that PDF is from my gallery. Glad to see it getting some use. Grabbed jjmt's thread and combined it.

goldenglory, it depends which headers you're installing. They should come with new bolts, I know the Kooks did.

I got the JBA's

its not bad doin it yourself i just wish i had small hands those bolts on the headers are tight fit

i was wondering that as well my JBAs came with replacement bolts. i tried to see how they would fit on the studs couldnt get them to sit right but didnt really try that hard
