The 13.4 in the quarter that the new ss is posting is because of a lack of traction. look at the 108,109,110 trap speed which is a mid to high 12 second car. when the ls3 is boosted with forged internals it will destroy almost anything except vetts with same mods or other cars with more mods.

i would recommend to get a good twin screw sc package or good turbo package. then when funds are availible, a forged stroker shortblock or longblock. at that time you should be able to turn the boost up to the desired power level. this is what i plan to do if i want to run with the lsx motors and hemis.
