10's on Stock Motor?

That's my goal! I'm hoping to see at least 120 mph when winter hits and we have good track weather in florida. I really need to get my clutch situation figured out as well. With some skinnies I'm sure I can have the mph to get it, if not, I'll get a new dynotune with the 12lb pulley and hope she holds. It's def going to be hard with the manual though, so many variables to screw up.

I have often thought about building a 298ci SB with stock heads and aftermarket T/S cams and run it at 16psi on the street. Then at the track with some race gas and a 100 shot of nitrous. I would put in a built 4r70w or 5r55 with a trans brake.
I figure it should still be plenty streetable and see very low 10's.
Then I think about the upkeep and breaking parts, and staying around 500rwhp and getting a body kit and making a drop dead gorgues street car sounds better.
If only I had the money for both life would be simple
