Default about to order exhaust. header question n stuff

all

im getting ready to start ordering some of my exhaust. i have done a hand full of research and got a few questions. i plan on getting the Borla Stingers, mangnaflow high flow catted X, and BBK shorty tuned length headers. be4 i order the headers, the picture of them looks really large with all of the tubing. the stearing linkage looks pretty close to the headers already. aside from this... i was wondering has any one had any problems associated with the headers? leaks? fitting? bolts? i just want to make sure im not F'ed once they are on.

also with the headers do you have to change the motor mounts? i read some where in a tread here about it and it stuck in my head.

how sexy will it sound once this is all on? putting youtube to the side how sexy is sexy?

if you are stuck on short tubers, i would get jba's but a couple people on here have bbk shorties and love them. gives a nice deep tone. your steering will be fine. i dont think you have to change the motor mounts.

you should be ok with kooks or ARH and their cats. I wouldnt spend the $$ on the shorties. There are plenty of people out there with 450+ hp with the stock manifolds

I have the ceramic coated BBK shorties. I also have an off-road H pipe and I think it sounds pretty darn good. There are no clearance issues with the headers and the steering shaft although you will have to disconnect it to install them.

If I were to get shorties (I'm not since I have kooks) I'd go for the JBA. Their tubes are bent more smoothly which I think helps make better gains.

But I still say Kooks FTW.
