Just installed Pypes mid muffler system w/ pypes off road H pipe!!!
All I have to say is wow! The sound is entirely different. The car sounds like an old hotrod(smells like one too lol). I love it though, its freaking great. Its so loud. Not too loud at idle though. However, when you step on the gas, this thing will set off car alarms. It sounds very mean and very rough. There is no drone except when you are accelerating from 2k to 3k RPM, and then your like wtf where did this come from. Cause it goes: no drone, no drone, HELLA drone, no drone, no drone. No big deal though because there's minimal drone while cruising at 75 which is good.
As far as the install goes, not as hard as I imagined it to be. I heard a lot about fitment issues and such. And while I did encounter some, not too bad. My 4" tips are not the same height and the top of my left one is 1mm from touching my bumper and I'm worried about it melting it. Second, clearance is going to be an issue, I don't know if I may have put the pipes on wrong, but I only have like 4 inches of clearance from the muffler to the ground. I'm going to have to reposition the clamps so that the bolts are not on the bottom to give it some more clearance. Anyone else had similar problems? What were your solutions?
The clamps have me a bit worried. There are a total of 10 of them and an exhaust leak is just waiting to happen. However the fitment of the whole system overall turned out much better than expected. I read a lot of horror stories and I was prepared for the worst. Installation went smooth however. Total time, about 4 hours with a power lift that rose the car 6 feet. Fairly straight forward install. Although I had some trouble with the O2 sensors, of the three that connect to the midpipe, the uppermost one on the right didn't have enough slack to screw into the new midpipe. So I had to reach up above the transmission and snap off this plastic clip that it was being held too. Probably not the best idea but it gave me just enough slack to be able to screw it in. But thats just a temporary fix, i need to figure something permanent out.
Overall, I am very pleased with the whole system. I just need to get these minor issues worked out and then Ill be satisfied.

Congrats on your MM system. I have the same one (with s/l x-pipe) and the clamp issue kinda bothers me too. I've had mine on though for about 7 months and no leaks really, but I will probably get my local shop to re-align the tips (yeah they're a little crooked) and then weld the whole thing together so I can ditch those clamps. Wait until after about 2500-3000 miles when your mufflers are worn-in. If you like the sound they make now, you will LOVE it later.
Oh it will and it won't take very long either. When I had the Bassani Race axle-backs on, one of them touched my bumper and melted it. Luckily you can't see it unless you're right on it and look carefully.
When I had to send them back to Bassani for warranty replacement (one started to rattle very loud on the inside) I had a good amount of my melted bumper on the tip I had to get off with a torch and a knife. That was a pain.
