Default GT500 Fuel system question

Do I have to change / modify my tune with the addition of these??

hey rockgt, i've read that you do need
to update the tune when you add the
gt500 dual pump kit, i don't understand
why that is, just that it needs to be...

as far as, can you install them and still
drive around safely until you update the
tune? yes, that has been agreed upon...

Running out of fuel up top around 5800. I hit 13.1 on the dyno.

you should have the tune adjusted, I'm guessing you have 39# injectors? so the tune has to be adjusted to add more fuel pressure to make the injectors flow better and your MAF may need mapping above the 5800 area

Every thing was done by JDM, the pump is maxed out. They tuned everything they could. They had to pull timing out or it would of leaned out earlier.

have the tune updated for sure

timing = power so if the pumps were done and they pullled timeing, they probably were not able to work the tune above the 5800 area, you have around 500 more rpm there to use.
