unless you have the TCS on you should be doing a good burn out...

i turn it off everytime.it feals like it wont clean the water from the waterbox, like if they are still wet.the car does the same as if you get caught in the rain with sleaks, the rpms got to redline but the car wont go nowhere and wont smoke.this is my second auto gt and both did the same with the tires.i dont know what else to do.

i'd drop the shifter down to "2" and watch your MPH not the RPM, you want 50-55 MPH for 4-5 seconds

do u have the bias ply MT ETs?

OD won't even come into play. Start in off in 1st, get 'em spinning and manually shift into 2nd.

Another thing that effects your tire temperature and thus your smoke content is the tire pressure you run. Generally a lower pressure will increase your contact patch and heat up the tire to smoke em out!!

At the track I leave it in D, turn off OD and TCS. You cant see the smoke inside the car until about 6 seconds. MT's take a minute to get smoking too. In my buddies Cobra it takes me about 8 seconds in 2nd gear before I can see smoke in my mirrors.

Nice runs but the camera angle had me leaning right the whole time just to keep you outta' the fence. Damn those tuned auto's shift firm! You lit your tires fine but the lower profile tire on a bigger rim is what's killing the dramatic smokeshow at the stage. Fewer rpms is my take...
