Default Catted vs. off road?

Are the power gains worth it to go with an off road X-pipe and swap it out for smog with the stock one? Or is it not worth the hassle? Are the gains significantly better over a catted X-pipe?

IMO keep it catted. I was running an O/R prochamber. It sound good, but was a little raw sounding. On the dyno, I gained about 3 hp but lost 5 tq. You can feel the difference in the low RPMS, the catted feels faster down low, but the O/R feels like it picks up speed at above 3K. Also keep in mind the smell. If you are driving in front of a motor cop, he may be able to smell your car and pull you over and give you a ticket...So I didn't put my stock H back on, I just added hi-flow cats to my prochamber.
