well nothing on these cars is real cheap. but a must first mod is a cai/tune combo. will really wake your ride up. c&l and jltII and steeda are common cai's

Anything "cheap" probably means less than $300 or $400 on our Stangs. And anything that cheap will gain you in the range of 2-10 RWHP typically, at best. The CAI & tune combo will net you 15-30 RWHP and the hand-held tuner is needed for a number of other mods anyway.

Maybe if you mentioned your $$ range and what you're aiming to do... Perhaps your idea of cheap is one of the blowers for under $6000 in lieu of going all out at $8000 or more.

CAI/Tune
Gears

Do those and it should help your enjoyment factor go way up. After that maybe a driveshaft or some of the cheaper LT headers out there.

CMDP and UDP - I just decided to ditch that idea and save the money for other stuff. Gains they give don't seem to be worth it IMO. They are pretty cheap though.

Yeah what everyone else has said... Go with the cai/tune for power.. then you're left with the little things... I've heard good things about an electric water pump... ~11 rwhp? (can anybody validate that?) I got a cam for $640... Not bad... Look at the classifieds.. those are normally cheap...

also to help speed up your shifting would be a short throw shifter, many kinds like hurst, MGW, Steeda, Pro 50, and so fourth... I love my Hurst easy to install as well..

CAI/Tune is a must! Gears wont gain HP but it will feel like it! UDP and CMDP help. TB is a waist of money. Cams are good bang for buck but IMO best bang for buck in a NA car is heads... Im saving up for a cam/ Head swap all at once
