I have an sct xcalibrator 2 loaded with tunnings I used to tune my 06 V6, I got a GT now and Can i use it to load tunnnings for it if I want a Cold Air intake??? I know all the tunning shops use an X3 now-a-days.....

Yes, as long as there is a tune for your CAI in the tuner already, if not then no.

is it locked cause I had gotten one and it was going to be 150 for sct to unlock it.

I don't know, I had Evoultion performance load the V6 tunes when I got a CAI tunnig combo for my old car, maybe Ill call them and ask...

If you did not plug the SCT into the car and return it to stock before you sold it then it is locked and will cost $150 to have SCT unlock it. As far as working, the X2 works just fine. The X3 does a few more things but the X2 does what you need. That is what I am using on mine.

He's right. If you didn't return the V6 to stock before selling/trading it, then it is still married to the V6 and you will need to ask Fred to unlock the XCAL2for you and load up GT tunes. Time to get a new CAI while you are there.

Congrats on getting the GT, btw...
