Default Looking for ~25rwhp

Hey I'm trying to stay N/A and just get an extra 25 (24.37 works for me) horsepower.... I'd also like mods that are under the $300 range (not including install)... I know TBs are useless on stock cars, but with what I have now would they be beneficial? and from what I've heard eH20>UDP correct? I would go CMDP, but I'd like that to be the last (obviously because it needs a tune...)

I will juice these damn ponies out if it kills me.....

performance mods now:
XFI NSR Comp Cams Stage II
MAC LT
Bassani Catted X
4.10s
Tune
short throw
JLT CAI
(325.63rwhp)

Thanks!

And no i do not wish to go FI

I would say stroker kit (with high compression) but I'm pretty sure that's a bit over 300.

Or Comp SPR stage II cams to replace your NSR but again...over 300.

Ported heads would probably do it or come close. But well over 300 too. Dang.

Maybe Delete Plates + UDP + eH2O...but even then I'd expect that to be less than 25hp.

Pretty much you're going to have to open up the wallet quite wide to gain much more.

eh.. i heard strokers suck for these small V8s?

And lol I got the same gains youd get with SPR with the NSRs

Heads cost about as much as a S/c

Hmmm I could give them a try... better fuel injectors help any?

Other than some serious internal work I'd say your almost peaked at mods that'll gain you anything significant. All that comes to mind besdies the suggestions above would be NOX. For all the aggravation and expense trying to gain another 25 RWHP, why NOT go FI?

No the SPRs will gain a lot more then NSRs. They have a much higher lift and so require springs.

I fail to see how more cubes will suck.

Its gonna run more than 300 for sure.

You've already put some $$ into it, I'd just plan for another $700 or so. UDPs, eH20 & CMCVs......

I see no one has anwered your TB question either - again, its gonna run you well over $200, but $0 to install - it only takes 15 min. I have one, and have had no issues with it. I didn't do a dyno to see what came specifically from the TB - but I'd guess 5-10 max.

Headers aren't as expensive as a S/C.........really good headers will set you back $1500 while a S/C is double that minimum.

Good luck......

You are way off, I know 2 people personally with SPR Comp cams NA pushing over 350rwhp on a 5 speed one is like 356 and the other was 361rwhp.

As for stroking the motor it sure can get you over 400rwhp. Look at the Jim Jr's NA car, it is stroked to High compression and SPR comp cams running 11.2 in the 1/4 mile... pretty impressive for NA.

Edit: I was alittle off, i called and asked he ran 11.15 @ 119 NA Stroked
