Default Throttle Body Questions...

I am currently running a 2.3 whipple and in the next few months will be having the motor built.. (stroker, headwork, custom cams etc) The goal is to run between 15-16 psi . Some have suggested going to a bigger throttle body like the one whipple makes (Black Diamond). Just wondering if anyone has any experiences with the bigger throttle bodies good or bad....Thanks..

I have the 1450 CFM Kenne Bell monoblade (Stage II) and it made big improvements in my throttle reponse and top-end performance. The stock TB only flows about 860 CFM so if you plan on high boost the Black Diamond would be a great mod.
Adam at ST motorosports makes a whole intake upgrade for the Whimple with a new CAI tune, upper manifold and the TB.

idle issues can be worked out in the tune.
