Default supercharger or turbo???

I have a 2005 mustang gt and I am wanting to put either a supercharger or sts turbo on my car. I was just wanting some advice on what everyone on here prefers or likes just for the info. I have never owned either. How hard is it to install a turbo compared to a supercharger. I was looking at sts twin turbo, ati procharger, roush supercharger, whipple. Thanks

if you want to make max power turbo is the way to go. a good 57MM Twins kit would be very good for your goals

check out this one

I recommend research before you get flamed. This comes up all the time and there are tons of generic info for you to read. We all started out with a clean slate so go out and learn what you can. And feel free to come back when you have specific questions.

I recommend you find a thread on another site that is "S197" specific, wink wink, and check their pinned threads.

Good Luck.

yeah.. I'd recommend locking it now hehe.. the endless debate with pros and cons of each. I'm mostly city driving, daily driving and some track.. someday planning on probably getting a saleen S/C from brenspeed from the research and pricing ive done.

Your opening post mentioned 4 types of forced induction: turbo, roots, twin-screw, and centrifugal. Do some thorough research on forced induction and forget about brand names for now

I agree with Steve on this...do some research first and if this thread does become "which is better a turbo or S/C" I will lock it and delete it as this is an old and a mute point. Both types of FI are great and serve different needs for any given application. JMO
