Default Best Muffler for 2006 GT Convertible

I just picked up a 2006 GT convertible and am looking to put on a new set of mufflers to improve the sound, and possibly the performance. I have heard Flowmaster American Thunders and they sound great. I also got a quote on Magnaflows. My question to the forum is what is the best muffler to buy? Thanks for any advice!

mufflers alone won't get much hp increase, just sound increase. there is a balance between loudness and quality of sound. finding that balance is a quest that many have searched for. and there are different answers but no real correct answer to that same question of 'which mufflers are the best.' it is a quest in which we can all guide and recommend what path to choose, but it is you who has to drive the journey. when you come to your own conclusion, then you will be enlightened.

but IMO, M80's ftw!

I searched youtube for days and found corsa's to be the best sound for me. And im glad i went with them. They are loud when you want them to be but not overwhelming where you have to yell to talk to the person next you when your at idle.

I recently installed GTAs on my vert and think the subtle sound increase is perfect without goin over the top.

I have the pypes mid muffler setup and love them. I really should take a video of drive-by, and drive away. Most exhaust clips I found are all just the car starting, idling, and reving.

Its March so my car will be back on the road in a week or so, Ill take a clip and post it up if you havent chosen by then.
