I thought the BBK required a tune. If you haven't thrown a code yet, you probably will. And if it DOES require a tune, I suggest you install the stock airbox until you get a tune.

A CAI by itself may gain you about 5-7 RWHP with no option to get any performance gains from higher octane fuel. A CAI & tune will gain you 15-25 RWHP or more plus provides other drivability benefits, especially if you have an auto tranny. Not to mention the choices of tunes.

Considering that they claim those HP gains with their TB, I'm not sure WHAT to believe. Unless you're aspirated, there's no gain over the stock TB by swapping to their TB. And the info implies that the CAI can be used with the "stock computer" so I'm confused if they mean the stock tune.

Regardless, a CAI without a tune is like a day without sunshine.

Designed to work with the factory computer
and this is interesting and confusing?
This high level of performance with the stock program is achieved by utilizing a custom integral mass-air housing which is machined into our new aluminum casting and features a calibration of the factory mass-air.
I would get the tuner as well and a nice custom tune to take advantage of the new CAI...
