Default Losing weight, suggestions welcome!

My car is only used at the track and I really don't care how the car looks on the inside because I have know intentions on making it a show and go car. It looks good from the outside and it goes fast, thats all I care about.
Already lost a lot of weight but I'm still trying to cut more.
Weight loss already done:
Front sway bar delete.
Passenger and rear seat delete
all 4 seat belts are gone
Lots of carpet and paneling gone
Nothing in the trunk
windshield wiper and motor delete
windshield wiper tank and fluid gone
All extra seat brackets are gone.
Driver seat replaced with light weight racing seat.
Battery relocation to the trunk
Shaker 500 delete.

It was a lot of weight but I still want to do a lot of other stuff:
Tubular K member
Tubular A-arms
tubular radiator support
Some kind of light front suspension
Airbag delete
What else?

The problems that I am having:

Airbag delete: I have no clue where to even start with taking the airbags out. Has anyone done this or have any clue on how to?

Not knowing what else to do.

Any other ideas for cutting weight are welcome. I've seen other threads on this but none of them get real specific on places to cut weight.

You can always take the dash out if its a true track car, that can save alot of weight, also with the airbags just make sure the battery is unplugged. YOu dont want them going off in your face.

Figured out the battery relocation by buying a smaller battery and smaller box that fit behind the rear bar of the cage. Also went with the shaker 500 delete today minus the cd player due to lack of time.

But does anyone know how to get at the airbags?

I think modaddict had found the mechanism to relieve pressure in the gas tank weighed something like 65lbs and could be replaced with sometype of valve.. removing the AC unit is a huge weight savings.. you should be able to strip the entire interior bare.. no *****.. nothing, pull it all out.. I think you can also get a lighter weight steering wheel..

edit: remove the motors for the power windows/doors, replace windows with those plastic ones.

There is a write up on how to remove the air bag. Look for Steering wheel install thread. There is a bolt located on the rear of the steering wheel behind some plastic caps. Just unplug the battery, wait a few mins, then you should be able to remove the entire steering wheel and maybe replace it with an aftermarket racing one. As far as the passenger side, I am not sure.

You need to remove a few trim pieces to remove the passenger side airbag. Plus you have to remove the glove compartment. It is quite heavy, about 20lbs i'd guess. I had to pull mine out to remove that center vent panel. If you get the glove box out, then you can look up and see the bolts that need to be removed to slide out the airbag. If you aren't using the airbag anymore, then i'm sure you could take the front panels off and glue them to something to fill the big hole.

ac delete removes 40 ish pounds if you remove all the lines and garbage, you need to get an ideler from ford for the belt location, without it you cant run the belt
