I love my 2005 GT who's with me!
Hey all I've had my 05 for two weeks and I love the **** out of my car. The power that I've never had before. The look of the car weeee doggie. Yesterday, I was leaving work and a lady stopped me and said why do you look so happy. My response, " Aside from leaving work I get to go to my car." She replied, " I just found out today that new Mustang is yours great looking car." If you are waiting for yours it will be worth the wait. I'm a mustang man I have been since I started liking cars. I drove a 97 convertible. I have an 05 and will soon be looking to purchase and restore a 60's mustang. Some day if I can I will go back and find my 97 convertible and make it mine again!!!

I am with you. When I miss a day of driving it, it is like something is missing for that day or on the weekend when I don't go anywhere. I try to make excuses for me to drive it though. Sometimes I have to drive the truck to work to pick up supplies for the project that I am working on for the school district or on.
It is great that you know you have the power when you need it and to hear the engine when you push the pedal to the metal.

I hear ya! I have one of those rare jobs where I can work from home one or two days a week (us computer geeks can do that). On days I do not drive into work I do feel I have missed something that day, perhaps it's that mile of road where I kick it up to 100+, or just driving my beautiful green machine! Who knows, but yes, I am in love with my car!!
This is new territory for me as I am 31 and NEVER owned anything but a truck.
Trust me, I don't miss the trucks.

No offense to anyone but I freaking hate trucks!!!!
I live here in Texas where there is more trucks than anything. The closest thing to truck are mustangs LOL. Anyone 90% of people don't know how to drive their trucks. So Im constantly waiting on people trying to figure out how to turn. Most people when they park they take up two spaces and don't care cause their truck is so huge. Also, 70% or higher truck drivers are cowboys ......I hate cowboys. ( the culture not the Football team). So, much I wrote a movie called One Badass Cop. At the end of the flick the main character (the hero of the story) blows up the Stockyards and due to his actions Congress outlaws the Cowboy culture and the movie ends with a cop and a thug beating a cowboy in the street.
