Default Rotating assembly

The new engine block arrived today. The next question is whose rotating assembly to get, Livernois or Haney Motorsports? I know a lot of people will say go with Livernois, but the only thing I don't like about their kit is that it doesn't include the main bearings. And they main bearings are included with the Haney kit.

Why would main bearing be a big deal? IMO livernois offers the best kit for the price. It can't be beat. How much is the hanley kit? When I called to get my kit the bearings were $99 for standard clevite and the coated clevite bearings were on back order. I'm sure hanley offers a great kit, but don't let main bearings keep you from getting the livernois kit.

The reason livernois doesn't furnish main bearings is....."YOUR SUPPOSED TO CUSTOM FIT THE MAINS TO THE CRANK BY TAKING MEASUREMENTS YOURSELF"!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Under no circumstances should you use bearings that come with a kit "UNLESS THEY CUSTOM FIT THEM and you have PROOF!!!!!!!!!!!!

plus one milllion billion
main bearing thickness is determined by the crank/block fitment
you need to measure and then buy, anyone who says otherwise is full of ****e
get a line for the coated bearings as it is cheap insurance for bearing life

Why did you get a block and internals seperate? You could have just picked up a Livernois short block...
