Smile Purchased MAC LT, need advice

Well after doing some research I narrowed my Header choices down to MAC and Kooks. I decided to go with MAC ceramic coated because they are alittle cheeper than kooks and the gains were very comparable between both (around 1 HP average less. I orderered them from brenspeed today and should be getting them soon. I also am going with macs X-pipe and am going to splice in the High flow metalic cats. I went catted because I'm military and could end up in cali or somewhere that checks. Now with the above in mind I'm wanting to get a muffler set up that won't tick the community off to much but I wanna hear it if you know what I mean. I'm thinking about the Corsa Extreme after recently reading some comments on here about them on the other hand I was thinking Boomtubes which I have a feeling would wake the dead with the the mac headers. Any advice from anyone with a simular setup or heard a simular setup would be appreciated.

I dont know anything about the corsa extreme's, but i have the corsa sports and they are awesome. Nice and quiet when you are at low load/ low rpms and scream at high rpms/high load.

I just put BBk lt's and catted x-pipe from Breenspeed. I can tell you what not to get is SLP Loudmouths. With a stock exhaust the loudmouths were awesome. With the new set up it would wake the dead. Dave at Breenspeed said my car was one of the loudest he had ever heard. Swapped out the loudmouths for Stingers and the car sounds great again.

I thought the same thing, I ordered it through Brenspeed, I wanted the X pipe and they shipped me one. I thought I was just going to be one of the splice in style they offer but it's not. Its an X pipe made by MAC (I think it's made by them came in sealed plastic wrap with the MAC name all over it. and it's 304 SS so it was a nice surprise. Any how if you need the Part number just contact brendspeed and they should have it. Oh yeah and it mates right up with the MAC headers using approximately 12" legs which is what i'm going to modify to splice in the mini cats.

I have MAC headers with an offroad H and MAC a/b and I love the way it sounds. If you want old school, loud, give girl an orgasm good sound, do my setup. But, I will say it is quite loud around 2000 rpm. At WOT, out of 6 different setups I've run, this one is the best by far, the next best was the Magnapacks. If you want to kill people then wake them up again, then do the SLP's. They sound great when the car is stock... start feeding the beast, and the loudmouths get angry
