Power Bleeder
Anybody else here use the Motive power bleeder for bleeding brakes/clutch? I just discovered that my Ford three-prong adapter that works with every other late model Ford I've ever tried does not fit my '07 Mustang. The cap looks the right size for the brake fluid reservoir, but it isn't. Anybody know what adapter I need to order to work with the Stang?

I got a response back directly from Motive, and on a Sunday too! In case anybody else needs this for future reference, the part number for the adapter is 1108. They're $25 from Jegs.

Hey Horseman, nice Marauder. Sorry, off topic here, my wife drives an 03 Grand Marquis (semi-cloned to a Marauder) and I have never been able to get rid of the spongy brake pedal after I flushed/bled it the first time a few years ago (maybe I introduced air that time). I've since flushed/bled all wheels twice but still the same. Just wondering if your Marauder brakes are as firm as your Mustang.
My 06 Mustang, which I haven't flushed yet, has always had a nice firm pedal. It's about due for a flush but I'm afraid of losing the firm pedal. I use a vacuum power bleeder that uses compressed air to develop the vacuum and it's worked fine on other cars except for the Grand Marquis spongy pedal. This is the bleeder: http://www.thetoolwarehouse.net/shop/MIT-MV6835.html
Anyone have any problems bleeding their Mustang?
