WHAT is the weak part of the engine that makes are horse power cap 450 .....is it the rotating assembly ...or the block ?....or what be very specific and in laymens term pretty please!!

From what I've heard, there are alot of factors that go into the "magic number" where something will go wrong. But I'm pretty sure the first thing to go are the connecting rods.

so say i wanted to go over that number (my ideal number in 650rwhp) what would i need to do to set up my engine right?

+2 on the rods.if i was to go 450 and above ill go forged internals just for safety.

Yup, just get a forged rotating assembly from somebody such as Livernois, I've only heard good things about them from the forums and will probably use them when I build up my motor. Good luck with the build and let us know how it goes!

Yep - in 'laymen terms' - RODS

LOL...

The pheumatic pistons in these things are pretty crappy too but they hold up longer than the rods ever will.

Once you start throwing power around, the valve train becomes your next suspect of terror. There are a lot of guys who have built motors take a crap because their vendor doesn't understand the metal differences in the valve train when you start playing around in there.
