Default Strategy Code

I asked in other forums, but will ask here too since no one knows...yes, I did send email to Brenspeed and SCT..just wondering if someone here knows.

I used the SCT X3 to obtain my stock strategy code for my 06 GT....the strategy code came out as FBLF152.HEX The question is...why ".HEX"? Did I obtained the correct strategy code? Everywhere I search no one talks about the ".HEX" extension in their strategy code....thoughts?

The .HEX is just a file extension. We at Brenspeed do not use the .HEX in our tuning, but we do use everything in front of the .HEX in place of the PCM code. It is just like when you save something in Microsoft word and there is different file extensions.

Hope that helps.
