thanks for your answers. I'll check out the links. I noticed that the new 427 cobra jet has the 5.4 modular from the gt500. I wonder if they had to stroke it to make it that big?

Dude, there is no "427 Cobra Jet" from ford. It is just the "Cobra Jet" there is no 427. The Cobra jet is a 5.4 liter supercharge GT500 mill. It is a standard 5.4 liter modular.

The largest V8 mod motor is the 351 that MMR makes. You could possibly take a V10 mod motor and make it that big, it all depends on you wallet.

You can not get 427 cubes in a modular, sorry. Our factory blocks can bored/sleeved and stroked to about 326 inches or so.
Correct. Even on a big bore 5.4 - you are not going to see 400. There are no options for that many cubes on a modular motor. Why does it have to be modular? Can get it out out of a SBF pushrod.

This is a motor I just bought for my car next year and it is 400"...

I know - this motor gives me wood...lol

I'll be upgrading my turbo system to twin 88's for this motor and next year's season. I will be putting out around 2400 rwhp and next year the chevykiller is retiring off the street and going to a full time drag car...

Now I use 110 on the street and C16 at the track. I should be able to run the C16 on this motor but may step up to VP Red.

You could always put in an LS7. Yeah it's a GM but f**k it, it's so bad *** it doesn't matter.
