Default 427 CID ENGINE POSSIBLE?

I am thinking of building an engine from bottom up. I came across the idea of getting a big monster for more hp N/A. Is it possible to fit a 427 in our type of mustang? Does anyone make a 427 modular?

Good question but I bet it wont fit without major modifications to the rest of the drivetrain (bet 100% custom too)

There was a posting here a couple of years ago showing a 427 SOHC installed in a black GT. A wicked, wicked car. It was featured in one of the Mustang magazines as well. Sorry I can't find the post again in the search, but a 427 can definitely be made to fit (with enough $)

I don't know if the link works or not, but the article from Mustang 5.0 is still out there - shows the install and talks about the car. Man I'd love to drive it (or even listen to it)

Yes it can be done. It all depends on the size of your bank account. Follow the link for a nice article.

That is an FE (big) block, side-oiler push rod engine. The engine alone is worth a fortune.
You can not get 427 cubes in a modular, sorry. Our factory blocks can bored/sleeved and stroked to about 326 inches or so.
