Default Whipple Update. 20k miles.

Hey guys n' gals. Been a while since I have posted and thought I would share my experiences with the Whipple H/O kit.

I have about 20,000 miles on my home-installed kit, which was dyno'd at 482 RWHP. I have had ZERO issues with my car mechanically. It is still a great daily driver, starts up fast, is fast as hell itself, and runs like new.

I'm glad I went with the Whipple, and definately can say it is quality.

Good to know. Especially for those of us still window shopping for SC's.

No clutch issues?

What's a GT500FR?

Wow, you blew right by me. I've only got a little over 14,000 on the blower and 26,XXX on the car. I used to drive it every day, but bought a motorcycle and been riding it 50% of the time.

When are you going to change the oil in yours? I can't see going 100,000. Even though mine still looks clean, i'll probably change it at 25k.

Pypes mid-muffler system. I've not heard those ford racing mufflers, but I can't see them sounding better and having less drone than the mid mufflers.

You can send me the $300 I just saved you.

Buy mine. https://mustangforums.com/forum/s197...frpp-gtas.html

...and I might by a whipple to make you feel warm & fuzzy about it. Talked to another shop today that was high on whipple. They were pushing the quality & completeness of the kit (good intercooler, Gt500 pumps, etc.)

..sorry, highjack over
