Help...h-pipe install problem
Im in the middle of installing a pypes offraod h-pipe on my 08 bullitt and have run into a little snag. The studs on the exhaust manifolds have a nut built into them(pic below) for removing that is preventing the flange on the pypes h-pipe from completely tightening the joint.
Also, the flange to end of pipe on the pypes h-pipe is about a 1/4" while the factory h-pipe is about 1/2".(pic below) The extra 1/4" that the factory pipe has allows it to tighten the joint with the built in nut on the stud...
Has anyone else run into this problem? Im thinking the manifold studs on the 08's are different...
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks
Jeff

here's the best pic i could find that shows
an 06 stock manifold stud. it looks similar,
hard for me to say for sure though

Thanks hammer.
I figured out that there were a couple of inserts in the parts bag. The instructions mention nothing about these so I figured they were an extra or something...
Not sure why they wouldn't just manufacture the pipe with the correct ends???
